ASEF PHN AMR session at Asia-Europe Environment Forum (ENVforum) 2021

ASEF Public Health Network is hosting a session on AMR under agriculture stream at the Asia-Europe Environment Forum (ENVforum) Annual Conference 2021 “Circular Food Systems – Solutions to Reverse Climate Change?

Aim of the session This session will look into shifting to a circular economy concerning agriculture and food. It will focus on how we can make a transition towards regenerative farming practice. Issues surrounding conventional agricultural practice, such as AMR, can be discussed. The session intends to outline necessary changes and attempts to generate recommendations on how these can be addressed. The outcome of the session will contribute to tackling overall challenges to mitigate climate change.

It is a uniquely defined session connecting AMR with emerging environmental issues, circular food system in tackling climate change.
