Dr. Latiffah Hassan, Coordinator of MyOHUN, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)

Dr Latiffah Hassan is a professor in veterinary public health epidemiology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She graduated with a DVM at Universiti Putra Malaysia and later received her doctorate degree from Cornell University. Her research covers the areas of epidemiology of emerging infections especially those of public health interest. Latiffah publishes widely and serves in editorial board of top ranking academic journals. She is an avid speaker for One Health and facilitates multiple interagency trainings in the country. She has been regularly invited to speak at national and international seminars and conferences, and is a familiar face at interagency meetings and platforms. Currently, she is the Head of the Department of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnostics at UPM as well as the Coordinator of Malaysia One Health University Network (MyOHUN).
