One Health Academic Challenges:
Preparing today’s Workforce
to Combat tomorrow’s Infectious Diseases
The SEAOHUN 2018 International Conference aims to bring together the multidisciplinary experts in One Health from different sectors across the region to share and exchange their knowledge, scientific research, and lessons learned in One Health. The conference also serves as the networking platform for One Health professionals to get connected and foster collaboration in concert with One Health principles. The conference will be conducted under 6 sub-themes:
1. One Health policy
2. One Health education and training
3. Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
4. Infectious/Zoonotic diseases
5. Food safety
6. Tools for detection and diagnostic of infectious agents

W1- The Participatory One Health Disease Detection (PODD) system empowering community in outbreak early detection and rapid respond
W2 - Showcase of students’ One Health activities and a panel discussion on career paths in One Health

Keynote on Global One Health Workforce (USAID) Plenary I – One Health progress in Vietnam

A pleasant trip to Halong Bay to visit the beautiful cave with stalactites and stalagmites formed for millions years, freshen up with the view/ swim in the crystal emerald water and enjoy the local sea food. Please check out more detail in the itinerary.
