The 2nd International Symposium for One Health Research (ISOHR) in Guangzhou, China

Chairperson (Prof. Le Thi Huong) and Executive Director (Dr. Vipat Kuruchittham) of SEAOHUN were invited to participate in the 2nd International Symposium for One Health Research (ISOHR) in Guangzhou, China on 23-24 November 2019. They shared SEAOHUN’s approach to the development of One Health workforce and VOHUN’s contributions to the One Health Workforce Development in Vietnam. The symposium ended with a very positive note when Prof. Lu read the Declaration of the Pearl River that "China and Southeast Asia should coordinate their efforts to build a shared future, by establishing ongoing One Health raining courses, jointly cultivating young talent, creating efficient information exchange networks, and sharing information and resources, so that together we can face and meet the world's health challenges." Our sincere appreciation to Prof. Jiahia Lu, Director of One Health Center of Excellence for Research & Training at Sun Yat-Sen University, Prof. Cordia Chu, Director, Centre for Environment and Population Health Griffith University, and their entire team for their warm hospitality and excellent symposium. SEAOHUN looks forward to fostering collaboration with universities in China to build the next generation of One Health leaders.
